It's all about layer upon layer upon layer, then taking it back slowly to reveal texture, lines, and hidden treasures with each individual piece. I work intuitively just letting the paint flow with lots of playing and experimenting. I like my pieces to say something when the viewer looks at it, wanting the viewer to find their own connection to the art. I enjoy it when someone asks if they can touch one, I encourage it, the textures just reach out and make you want to feel it.
I am self taught, mixed in with some workshops, watching other artists videos, and having a very talented family. I am inspired by music, colors, and people around me and I like to have that show through in whatever I am working on at that time.
I don't commit myself to just one medium. I express myself in many ways; paint, clay, wire, paper, canvas, and found objects of all kinds. I work in both two dimensions & three. I love to create. And I love to share my creations.
